What’s up with electric cars nowadays?

Hello dearest bloggers!

A couple of years ago, there was a big fuzz about the electric cars. They would be the future and everybody would have to drive one. Now, you don’t hear a lot of electric cars anymore. The society (and the people within it) don’t really find a solution for the charging problems and the heavy costs of these cars. Nevertheless, driving an electric car has a lot of advantages compared to driving a traditional fuel consuming cars.

Advantages for the environment

The first and most obvious advantage are the financial benefits. We all know how expensive it is to drive a car and that the refill becomes more expensive time after time. Especially when you have to use the car on a daily basis, the fuel cost becomes really heavy. In addition to that, there can be a lot of other financial incentives related to electric cars. It’s a fact that electric cars are usually tax-free and that they are promoted by the government too!

The only issue is the charging of the car’s battery, which should take place at a charging point for electric cars. However, since nowadays renewable energy is available at home, you don’t have to drive to a special charging point anymore.

Another interesting fact is the reduced noise you hear when you’re driving an electric car, which allows you to drive the car in a more pleasant way. Some cities even foresee free parking spots for these green cars. On top of that, electric cars are more reliable and easier to maintain than other traditional cars!

Considering all these benefits and the green innovative flow we follow, we should all purchase an electric car! What do you guys think?

Dennis, Jacinta and Iwein.
